While my family was here we took a trip to the Santa Monica Pier. The ferris wheel is so amazing because at its highest, you are just hanging over the ocean! Amazing!

We then went to my mom and dad's place and celebrated my dad's birthday as well as Tali's birthday. They are a day apart and joint birthday celebrations have always been a fun tradition. From the looks of their cheeks, those candles don't stand a chance!
My dad had to work on his birthday, but we met up with him for lunch at Bass Lake! Beautiful!!! My mom and dad at our water front table!
At Bass Lake, there is a place called Miller's Landing. They serve what I believe to be the biggest ice cream sundae ever! Our niece was in heaven!

While we were at my parent's place we had a big family get together. The boys took care of the grilling. Our nephew is in training! (Hopefully this puts Cliff and Jeremy in better standing with Brice after having tried to teach our nephew to say "barbie!")
What a blessed time it was for me to be able to spend so much time with my family this summer. It did make good-byes very difficult, but what a gift to have such a wonderful family!

What great pictures!! Looks like everyone had so much fun together, you guys are always so great about maximizing and getting the most out of family time! We really enjoyed getting to see your family also while they were here in town!
