Two Months (Belated)
Again, I have proven to be negligent of my blogging duties! Our sweet boy is already almost 11 weeks old and I am just now getting around to posting a two month update! Nevertheless, here are the stats of Wes's second month...
At Wes's 2 month check up he weighed in at 13 pounds and measured 24 inches long! He got his first big round of shots and was very brave. He let us know he was unhappy about it, but was soothed quickly with his passie and big snuggle from daddy. (Since Daddy was the one who held him down, it was only fair for him to be the one to then comfort him!) Mommy stood in the background and cried! But, overall, Wes continues to be a very content and happy baby. He is a good sleeper at nights and loves to smile and talk all the time.
Here are some highlights from the last month...
Each year our church holds a fall kick off service at Paramount Ranch. This is an old west town that studios use for filming. We have a worship service and potluck and affectionately call it "Cowboy Church!" Here we are in front of one of the old west buildings. Notice Baby Wes's little cowboy boots!! (Thanks go out to his cousin, Corbin, for the hand-me-down!)
This was the moment we realized that Wes was ready to come out of the newborn bath sling! Look at those long legs!!
Wes is a BIG spitter! The spit ups this kid can do are just unreal! Once we get him dressed and ready to go, we have to take great precautions to save his clothes!
One of Wes's favorite games is to lay down and talk and play with Mommy and Daddy.
My boys just adore each other!
Mommy loves getting her snuggles in! Wes is one big snuggle-bug!
He loves to nuzzle his face in when you hold him. And, really, there's no better feeling!

He is doing great on his tummy! We just can't get enough of this sweet face!
But, at the end of the day, this is the face that Jeremy and I just live for!!
Thank you Lord for our sweet Baby Wes!

Oh my gosh. What a little pumpkin. He seems like SUCH a happy baby which is the best thing a parent could ask for! He is so beautiful you guys. I want to eat him up. Too bad that won't be happening any time soon. :( I am so overjoyed for you guys. Enjoy this incredible time with him. I feel like this is the most time you'll ever have to focus on one kid. Naturally you focus on the second but it's just different. :)
