On November 1st Jeremy underwent shoulder surgery. Jeremy officially had "left shoulder diagnostic and operative arthroscopy, debridement, bankart reconstruction." For all of us who aren't orthapedic surgeons, that means that he had surgery to repair torn ligaments that were causing him to suffer from recurrent shoulder dislocation. Whew! That's a mouthful!

Anyway, the surgery went well and Jeremy is doing well in his recovery. He will be in a sling for 2 more weeks at which point he will begin several months of physical therapy. Many thanks to all of you who have been praying for Jeremy and I during this time. It has been difficult at moments, but each day we see progress.

And for all of you "discovery channel types", we've got some great photos and video footage of the surgery. Great entertainment!

Glad to hear that Jeremy is improving. Hope that the pain is under control...sadly the block cannot last the entire recovery period.
